Doug BennetDOUG BENNET, co-author of the bestselling guidebooks to Ontario’s wilderness Up North and Up North Again, is an avid birder, canoeist, and camper. In addition to his nature writing, he is an award-winning journalist and publisher of Masthead, the trade journal for the magazine industry, and Design Edge Canada for the graphic design industry. He was previously the editor of Canadian Home Workshop magazine. A graduate of the Ryerson School of Journalism, Doug was born in Montreal, grew up in Ottawa and has lived in Calgary and London, England. He now resides in Toronto‚Äôs Roncesvalles neighbourhood.
